Places to visit in Nepal
What our customers say ?

My first sight of Nepal was Everest - after coming in late that night and going straight to sleep, I got up very early to catch the morning flight over Everest with Buddah Air. The planes were gorgeously vintage and the Himalayan views were stunning - they looked like frozen meraingue ontop of the world. That afternoon, I was shown around Kathmandu by Surendra Lohani, tour guide and tea expert arranged by Friendship Nepal Tours. Surendra was quite the dapper gentleman in a suit and umbrella and answered all of my questions on Nepal's history and culture fluently. He showed me the kumari house where the living Godess lives, he pointed out the counterfit sadhus in Durbar Square and took me to Hindu and Buddhist temples and finished at Patan at the amazing museum. He also took me to Little Tibet, which I really loved. From Kathmandu, Friendship Nepal Tours arranged for me to fly to Pokhara where I also had a great time - eating delicious food, enjoying the mountain scenery, going boating on the lake and even on a three hour pony trek around Lake Fewa, which I very much enjoyed. My hotels were well selected - clean and spacious. Friendship Nepal Tours arranged everything for me - transfers between the airport and hotel, hotels, activites and guides.

I had a really great time in Nepal - thank you.

We barely had a plane ticket to Kathmandu, where we had to meet with Mr. Silwal from Frendship Nepal Tours. The trip started in Kathmandu, and then went onto Tibet, to finally end up again in Kathmandu after a 6 day landcruiser trip through Tibet.

The first three days we visited Kathmandu, and the nearby cities of Patan and Bakhtapur. The visits were great and we even got a Spanish speaking local guide just for us !

Friendship Nepal did an excellent job working with my 21 year-old daughter and I  to plan our trip to Nepal and Tibet taking into account our special requests and customizing the itinerary.  Trekking on the Shivapuri trail in Nepal was a great experience with beautiful scenery and the good company of Ramesh and Raz our guide and porter respectively.  Our only disappointment was that we didn’t plan a longer trek !

Traveling to Tibet over land was a true adventure between mud-clogged mountain roads and the broad Tibetan plains.  Gyalwa, our guide was passionate about his motherland and always eager to please while our driver proved to be wonderful entertainment as he sang for hours with music from the Landcruiser playing in the background.  The two of them took care to show us sites off the beaten track including their home towns, even inviting us to spend an hour in the farmhouse of a relative to experience typical, generous Tibetan hospitality and drink a bottomless cup of yak butter milk tea.  The sites and people of Tibet were a true joy to experience and Friendship Nepal did a good job of connecting us with native Tibetan guides that were competent and resourceful.

Thank you once again for the wonderful time I had in Nepal during my 6 days stay in July 2007. Nepal is one of most amazing places I have ever visited and due to your professional services I felt perfect and was able to discover most for the quite short time I stayed. Beautiful country and extremely nice and helpful people. Big thanks goes also to all member of your team and especially to Ashok who supported me during the city tour in Kathmandu. Many thanks and best wishes to Mr Chaman Thakur, Manager of Discovery Full Circle tours, your partner touroperator in Delhi, who arranged my stay in India with lots of professionalisms and dedication. In Nepal besides Kathmandu I traveled to Nagerkot and Dulikhel and all this was unbelievable nice experience. Would highly recommend to any new customers to use your services, since you and your dedicated team not just only do job properly but getting friends with your guests and this makes any Nepal trip unforgettable. And definitely will come again. Nepal is the ultimate place everybody visited once is eager to come again.

All of our time in Nepal and Tibet was great. We had a wonderful time. The transportation and drivers were fine, and, Lidong, our guide was the BEST. We loved him. He explained everything to us and showed us so much more than expected. There are so many good things to say about him. He was great! As for the hotels, we fully knew what to expect in advance so there was no problem there.

Our only problem happened when we left China. We took the train from Lhasa to Shanghai. We knew that we had to leave Shanghai the same day BUT we were never told that it was expected that we leave on the same flight. So my flight was scheduled to leave at 1225 and Debra's at 1740. We were going to different places after Shanghai........................Well this was a huge probelm with the group visa because you are only allowed to pass through immigration two hours before your flight so it was impossible for us to pass through at the same time. This caused us a big mess (which was eventually resolved). PLEASE inform your clients that it is expected that they leave on the same FLIGHT or on flights that depart within about a hour of one another.....not just on the same day.

We had a fantastic trip and I keep remenbering all we have done. Thank you for the organisation which was great. Gruide in Nepal, Guinesh was really good, we learnt a lot and his french is perfect.

The guide in Tibet, Gyatso, was good and very good knowledge on the religious part.

All you need, is to update the driving time in Tibet. Due to the road construction, some driving time are now shorter then idicate on the itinerary. We had have to redone the itinerary some day. Otherwise we will have arrived in some town to early with nothing to do. Also at the Everest camp, 2 nights is too much if you are not doing a trek there. But definitely stop of 1 night expecially if you have blue sky and sun the next morning as we did. The landscape is amazing.

In Nepal, Chitwan was really good and I am glad we did it especially at the end of the tour as it very quiet and we could rest a little after the tiring trip in Tibet. 2 nights will have been better and includ to the itienerary. The Resort was exellent and the guide there was very welcome and nice.

The walk in Nagarkot is superb and Baktapur not to miss. We really like this town, it is quieter then Kathmandu and perfect for the shopping. You can easily spend 1 day there.

Drive all a long was really good.

We used Friendship Nepal to coordinate our recent trip to Tibet, while Friendship Nepal planned the trip, their associated company Friendship Tibet implemented the plan.  We had a private guide and our schedule was tailored to our meet our needs.  We took the train from Beijing to Lhasa, where we toured for several days.  We then trekked for several days, complete with yaks and a cook.   We were very happy with our trip and impressed with the travel agents.

Firstly, we were told by several travel agents that securing tickets on the Beijing-Lhasa train was impossible.  Friendship Nepal was able to secure 1st class tickets on the train and had the tickets delivered to our hotel in Beijing.  We were very happy with this!

Our guide met us at the train station and was professional at all times.  His local knowledge was excellent and we enjoyed our time in Lhasa.  Thanks to over a meter of snow, our trekking did not exactly go as planned, but the travel agency and guide made alternative plans which were appreciated.

Based on our experience, we would recommend using this travel company and we will use them again for future trips.

"""We've been home for about a week now, and I just wanted to write and tell you what a great time we had in Nepal.  Our guide, Dinesh, spoke English well, and was very fun and knowledgeable about everything.  He explained things to us in detail, and led us to some wonderful experiences.  The Hyatt is a great hotel; we were comfortable and the food and service were good. Our driver knew his way around well, and was always courteous and on time. You made sure we knew in advance about all the little details, like the mountain flight passenger tax, the Nepal departure tax, and the ticket stamping.  We didn't know about any of these before.  Our trip was perfect...absolutely nothing went wrong!  I would be happy to recommend Friendship Nepal and Dinesh to anyone!  Thank you!!""""

We visited Nepal and Tibet last August. Friendship Nepal arranged a tour just for us and now we would like to thank Mr Silwal and the organization for the wonderful journey.
We saw marvellous places, from the jungle in Terai, to the Himalayan chain and the Kathmandu Valley. We had a chance to see the colourful Induist festivals and to meet people and speak with them. I'll always keep the feeling and the emotion of this special land in my heart.
Thanks again, we hope to come back soon in your wonderful country,
