9:00 AM - Hotel Pickup & Visit to Swayambhunath Stupa Your day begins with a hotel pickup and a visit to Swayambhunath Stupa, an iconic site perched on a hilltop. Believed to have been built around 250 B.C., this stupa is a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture, featuring a white dome symbolizing Nirvana, a 13-tiered golden spire, and the all-seeing eyes of Buddha gazing in all four directions. The stupa sits atop a legendary lotus mandala base, once said to have emerged from an ancient lake that filled the Kathmandu Valley.

10:30 AM - Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square Next, we head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Palace Square. This UNESCO World Heritage site was the royal seat of the Nepalese monarchy and is home to magnificent temples and palaces dating from the 15th to 18th centuries. The square is named after Hanuman, the monkey god, whose red-painted statue guards the golden entrance gate of the palace. This area is a stunning display of Nepalese craftsmanship, featuring intricate wooden carvings, towering pagodas, and historical monuments.

12:00 PM - Visit Boudhanath Stupa & Lunch We then proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most impressive Buddhist monuments in Nepal. Standing at 36 meters tall, this stupa is larger than Swayambhunath and is surrounded by a bustling marketplace of Tibetan culture, monasteries, and shops selling prayer flags and handicrafts. You will enjoy lunch at a rooftop restaurant, offering panoramic views of the stupa while soaking in the spiritual ambiance.

2:00 PM - Visit Pashupatinath Temple After lunch, we visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu shrine in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, this magnificent two-tiered golden temple with silver-plated doors is an architectural wonder. The temple complex is one of the largest in South Asia, housing numerous Shiva lingams, shrines, and idols of Hindu gods and goddesses. You may also witness the spiritual rituals performed by Hindu priests and devotees along the riverbanks.

4:00 PM - Return to Hotel After an enriching day of exploration, we will drop you back at your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Kathmandu’s rich heritage and spirituality.
