Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Tour

Day 1: Kathmandu – Biratnagar – Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp

• Take a flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar Airport.
• Meet our representative upon arrival and drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.
• Enjoy lunch at the camp.
• Embark on an afternoon birdwatching tour along the Saptakoshi River on foot.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

• Begin your day with an early morning nature walk in the surrounding area.
• After breakfast, set out on a Raft Boat Safari (approx. 3 hours) on the upper Sapta Koshi River, guided by a naturalist. Spot water birds, land birds, water buffaloes, dolphins, and other aquatic wildlife.
• Conclude the boat trip by the riverbank and enjoy a picnic lunch.
• Continue with a Jeep Safari (2.5–3 hours) inside the reserve for birdwatching. Visit Koshi Barrage and the Pink Tower, known for its excellent views of birdlife, animals, and freshwater dolphins.
• Return to the camp in the late afternoon.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

• Start your morning with a nature walk to spot nearby bird species.
• After breakfast, take a Half-Day River Raft Safari on the lower Sapta Koshi River for birdwatching and wildlife viewing.
• Spend the second half of the day on a Jeep Drive and Jungle Walk through jungles, wetlands, and lakes for more birdwatching.
• Visit the Crocodile and Wild Water Buffalo Machhan (View Tower).
• Stop for lunch at the camp or enjoy a packed lunch.
• In the evening, explore a local village and nearby markets for a glimpse of the local culture.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.

Day 4: Departure

• Enjoy a morning birdwatching session in different jungle locations.
• After breakfast, drive to Biratnagar Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
